This warranty will be deemed void under the following circumstances:
Products not installed or repaired by a licensed plumber and/or electrician accredited by Macallan. Products not installed in accordance with relevant National Standards and State Regulations. Products not installed in line with the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
Water pressure and/or temperature exceeding the stated limits outlined in the product installation instructions. As per AS/NZS 3500, the maximum water supply pressure at any outlet within a building must not exceed 500kPa at any time. Where pressure exceeds this level, appropriate pressure-limiting valves must be installed.
Inlet water temperature exceeding 50°C, as required by AS/NZS 3500.
Failure to install isolation stop taps as specified in the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
Installation of additional devices to the outlet of tapware (e.g. water filters).
Use of products with water additives, including cleaning or deodorising agents in cisterns.
Fair wear and tear, including but not limited to seals in cistern inlet and outlet valves, tap seals, and tap valves.
Any modifications made to the products without prior written approval from Macallan.
Use of products for incorrect applications, including use with non-potable water.
Damage resulting from system obstructions due to inadequate flushing prior to use, or from foreign matter in the water supply (including silt, corrosion, or excessive pressure).
Failure to regularly clean or replace blocked or dirty outlet aerators in tapware and/or shower heads.
Damage caused by accidental impact, misuse, neglect, maltreatment, abnormal stress or strain, or exposure to harsh or adverse environmental conditions.
Use of non-Macallan replacement parts or accessories, unless expressly approved in writing by Macallan.
Failure to install required flow regulators in tapware and showers, or regulated check valves/check valves in hand showers or veggie mixers.
Damage to surface finishes caused by improper materials, harsh or unsuitable cleaning products, incorrect cleaning methods, external impact, abuse, or the effects of hard water. Certain finishes are oxidised or organic in nature and will naturally develop a patina over time; Macallan is not liable for such changes.
Failure to follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance and care instructions.
Failure to submit the product warranty registration form to Macallan.
Warranty work is limited strictly to the pre-approved scope outlined in the issued work order. Any additional work must be authorised in writing by Macallan prior to commencement.
Customer service delivered by experienced industry professionals with a genuine passion for their craft.
The extended warranty is exclusive to the original owner and cannot be transferred.
If a warranty claim is assessed by a Macallan authorised service agent and they determine the issue stems from faulty installation, compatibility issues with other manufacturers' products, or any cause other than a manufacturing defect, Macallan reserves the right to charge a service fee for the site visit.
As part of Macallan’s commitment to continuous improvement, we reserve the right to modify products or supply an alter native model at any time.

Installation & Handling Damage to tapware and bathroom accessories commonly occurs during installation or removal. Please inspect all items carefully upon unpacking and before installation.
Ensure your installer handles products with clean hands or gloves and promptly removes any plumbing residues.
Do not use silicone sealant at any stage of handling or installation. If sealant comes into contact with the product, it must be removed immediately. Once installed, protect all fittings from paint, dust, and
cleaning chemicals by covering them until the project is complete.
To maintain the finish, dry fittings with a soft cloth after each use to help prevent mineral deposits.
Clean regularly using warm water and a mild, pH-neutral soap, then polish with a clean, soft or microfibre cloth.
Residue from personal care products such as soap, toothpaste, shampoo, and body wash can damage the surface. Rinse fittings with clean water after use to remove any residue.
Avoid using harsh or abrasive cleaning agents, including products containing acids, bleach, citrus, or alcohol. Do not use abrasive materials such as scouring pads or steel wool. If cleaning products come into contact with the fittings, rinse immediately with clean water and dry thoroughly.
Regularly check moving components, such as swivel shower heads and spouts, to ensure smooth operation and apply lubrication where required. Due to impurities commonly found in water supplies, it is also recommended to periodically clean aerators and shower heads to maintain optimal performance.
